Our Executives:
Beatriz Lemgruber – Executive Director of Método – BA in Languages and History of Art , works in the Meeting area since 1986, starting as project manager at Jobe Promoções. With large experience in meetings, Beatriz worked as manager of more than 170 congresses along the past 20 years, among which the Earth Summit 92. As from 1993 she became Meeting Director of JZ Congressos, being responsible for planning, advising and coordinating more than 150 congresses, among which the 9th World Psychiatry Congress in 1993; the 13th World Congress of Cardiology in 1998; the 17th World Petroleum Congress in 2002. After 2003, as director of Método Eventos she has organized The International Investment Funds Conference in 2004, IPA 2005 – International Psychoanalytical Association Conference, in 2006 the XI World Congress on Public Health with 9600 participants, among other events. Beatriz was president of ABEOC RJ (2008/2009).
Eduardo L. do Valle – Director of IT, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Communication from UFF and a specialized degree in Systems Analysis, Projects, and Management from the Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro. From 1994 to 1999 he worked as a researcher, scriptwriter, and image editor for the Health Channel project, a partnership between the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ) and TVE. He managed the IT Department at JZ Congresses from 1999 to 2003. He is now a member of our executive staff, responsible for the development of specific software for events as well as the optimization, planning, and control of all their stages, especially in relation to registrations and receiving and processing scientific abstracts and papers.
Silvia Lemgruber do Valle - Commercial Manager. B.A. in Literature from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, with a diploma from Language Teaching Management IDLTM, School for International Training, Vermont, USA. Silvia was Director of the BERLITZ Language Center in Brasilia from 1986 to 1989 and Manager of the Brazil-United States Institute (IBEU) from 1993 until 2006, when she joined Método.
Mary Fermo - Graduated in Tourism for the Faculdade Estácio de Sá, with fluency in English and Spanish languages, Mary worked in Tourism since 1970, when had the opportunity to develop several functions inside Travel Agency. From 1995 on she spread her experience out for Tourism of Congresses and Events, being at present as part of the team of Metodo Eventos in order to enlarge the service of assistance and advisory to the participants of the Congresses organized by Metodo Eventos.
Fernanda Medeiros - Graduated from Bowling Green State University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Masters in Public Administration. Joined Método after living abroad for 12 years and working in the sporting event industry;
Lilian Lisbôa - Has been working in the events industry since 1992. Working for different companies and gaining experience in the production area, pre-registration, and especially in registration at the event’s site.
